BAM Agribusiness Consultation
Introduction
BAM Agribusiness seeks to integrate faith and agriculture—from “farm to fork”—by leveraging agricultural and food production companies as a tool for spiritual, social, economic, and environmental transformation. The term “agribusiness” encompass all parts of the agriculture-to-food value chain—including growing, processing, and distribution—and is a critical industry in business as mission today. Agribusiness is foundational to economies on all continents, yet there are few resources being shared to intentionally support BAM agriculture and agrifood companies, and little networking taking place on this topic. This Consultation will address these issues by building intellectual and relational capital for BAM Agribusiness, leading to more impactful and greater numbers of kingdom-minded agriculture-related enterprises.
Why BAM Agribusiness?
Agribusiness represents a large audience and opportunity, especially in unreached communities across the world. For example, in India close to 50% of the population are in agricultural areas, across Africa, on average, it is 42%.
Economic Impact: Job creation and income generation in rural communities
Social Transformation: Strengthening families and communities through ethical business practices
Spiritual Influence: Discipling and equipping business leaders to live out their faith in the marketplace
Environmental Stewardship: Promoting sustainable and regenerative farming practices
The BAM Agribusiness Consultation is the first industry-focused consultation convened by BAM Global.

About BAM Global Consultations
BAM Global initiates working consultations under its BAM Global Think Tank initiative where there are identified gaps in the BAM ecosystem. BAM Global Consultations open up an unprecedented opportunity for discussion, collaboration and networking as a group works through a process of connecting, listening, learning, sharing and recommending. The results are captured in a published BAM Global Report and outworked in new projects, tools and communities of practice. These enable the next generation involved in business as mission to go further, faster.
