FAQs

The Leaders Forum is a unique opportunity to meet face to face with other leaders from across the world, to address the opportunities and challenges that will face us in the BAM community in the next decade.

The Forum is by invitation only, for approximately 150-200 leaders in the business as mission community. The Leaders’ Forum 2026 is not a regular conference but a working consultation and a consultative process, with an emphasis on listening (to God and each other) and collaboration. There will also be a focus on networking and relationship building, including plenty of time for fellowship, prayer, meals together and some fun!

We will begin the listening process for the Leaders Forum ahead of the gathering in Manila and this will help shape the agenda for our time together.

Please see the schedule overview and tentative objectives in the Program section above. A more detailed daily schedule will be made available closer to the event.

The event will open with registration on the afternoon of Wednesday 18 March and participants will be able to depart after lunch on Saturday 21 March 2026.

Please see the question below for more details on arrivals/departures and extra days in Manila.

The Leaders Forum cost has been kept as accessible as possible and is inclusive of the following:

  • Accommodation for three nights in single or shared rooms
  • Meals and snacks for the duration of the Forum
  • Forum venue and activities
  • Forum registration and materials
  • Local transportation round-trip – from Manila airport to the venue on arrival day, from the venue to the airport on departure day

Forum delegates will cover their own costs for the following:

  • Flights / travel to Manila airport
  • Visa costs
  • Personal spending money

Scholarships are now closed. Please contact registrar@bamglobal.org if you have any questions.

The Leaders Forum 2026 will be held at the CCT Tagaytay Retreat and Training Center. Please note that due to the nature of this event, our venue is a Christian retreat center where the accommodation is designed for groups (rather than a hotel). We will be limiting rooms at the Leaders Forum to single, double or triple occupancy and do encourage delegates to consider sharing a room if you can. More information here.

  • Location:
    • The venue is a Christian retreat center located outside Manila in a beautiful part of the Philippines, where the weather is typically cooler.
    • The center is approximately 60-90 minutes outside Manila, depending on traffic.
    • Address: Kaykulot Road, Barangay Sungay East, Tagaytay City, Philippines, 4120
    • Extra nights are not available at the retreat center. However, if you plan to extend your stay, we suggest you book one of the following hotels recommended by the BAM Philippines ground team, as these are convenient for transportation to/from the Leaders Forum venue:
      The Bellevue Manila
      B Hotel Alabang
      Azumi Boutique Hotel
  • Transportation:
    • Transportation for delegates will be provided from the Manila airport to the venue on arrival day and from the venue to the airport on departure day.
    • Arrival and departure information will be collected from all attendees in the Leaders Forum 2026 Arrival Information Form.
Important transportation information:

If you arrive anytime on Wednesday 18th or depart on Saturday 21st, we will automatically arrange your airport transfers based on your submitted flight details below.

ARRIVALS
Ideally plan to land at Manila airport by 14:00 local time on Wednesday 18 March, in order to clear immigration, be met and transported by our ground team, register, check in and arrive at the opening dinner.

DEPARTURES
We recommend departing flights are after 17:00 local time if possible, to allow for transportation and check in time.

Arriving / Departing at other times:

  • Late Arrivals (after 14:00 on 18th) / Early Departures (before 17:00 on 21st): While we strongly discourage missing part of the Forum due to the nature of the event, we will provide transportation at that time if it cannot be avoided.
  • Early Arrivals: If arriving before 18 March, please book your  own extra nights accommodation (as above). To catch the group shuttle to the venue on Wednesday, go to the  BAM Philippines office (5/F CRT Building 8416 Dr. A. Santos Avenue, BF Homes, City of Paranaque, NCR, Fourth District, Philippines 1720) by 14:00. We recommend using the Grab App for local travel. Location of BAM Philippines on Waze map.
  • Late Departures: If staying in the Philippines past 21 March, we will drop you at either the Airport or the BAM office after lunch on Saturday from where you can travel onwards.
  • Please share your transportation preferences in the Leaders Forum 2026 Arrival Information Form.

The Leaders Forum venue is a Christian retreat center, rather than a hotel, and the accommodation is designed for groups, with 4-5 beds in most rooms. We will be limiting rooms at the Leaders Forum to single, double or triple occupancy and do encourage delegates to consider sharing a room if you can.

  • Single Rooms: About 70 single rooms will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Shared Accommodation: Another 50 rooms will be set aside for double or triple occupancy.

Willingness to Share and Single Upgrade: If you are willing to share but would prefer to upgrade to a single room if one is available, you can indicate your interest in upgrading to a single room on the registration form.

Roommate preferences: If you have opted to share, there is space on the registration form to indicate any preference for a roommate, and this information can also be communicated to us near the time of the event. Whilst we will try to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee everyone will get their first choice of roommate – but we hope you’ll consider this a great opportunity to make a new friend. Married couples should indicate their spouse in the roommate preference field and will be given their first choice!

Extra nights: Please note, extra nights are not available at the retreat center – see next FAQ for more information about arrival/departure dates and recommended hotels for extra nights.

  • Arrival: Registration opens on the afternoon of Wednesday 18 March 2026.

Attendees should plan to arrive at Manila airport by 14:00 local time on the 18th, in order to clear immigration, be met and transported by our ground team, register, check in and arrive at the opening dinner.

  • Departure: Delegates are free to depart after lunch on Saturday 21 March 2026.

Departures from the venue will take place from lunch time on Saturday and we advise that departing flights should be booked no earlier than 17:00 local time to allow plenty of time for transportation and adequate check in time.

Arrival and departure information will be collected from all attendees in a pre-arrival information form in order to arrange the group transportation. See transportation information here.

You are welcome to plan for extra nights or days in Manila before or after the Forum dates.

  • Extra Nights: Extra nights are not available at the retreat center. We suggest you book one of the following hotels recommended by the BAM Philippines ground team for extra nights, as these are convenient for transportation to/from the Leaders Forum venue:
    The Bellevue Manila
    B Hotel Alabang
    Azumi Boutique Hotel
  • Optional Activities: Our local team will provide a list of recommended activities and excursions nearer the time, for those wishing to see more of Manila or Tagaytay.

The registration process for married couples depends on whether both spouses have been invited to attend the Leaders Forum as delegates or if a spouse will be accompanying a Forum delegate, but not attending.

If Both Spouses Have Been Invited to Attend (Attending Spouses)

If you have both been invited, you would have received an invitation addressed to both of you. You will register as “attending spouses”:

  1. Spouse 1: Register on the form. Select a double room and put your spouse’s name in the roommate preference field.
  2. Spouse 2: Contact the registrar at registrar@bamglobal.org to get the second spouse discount code before you complete your registration. Complete your registration: select a double room and put your spouse’s name in the roommate preference field.

If One Spouse is Accompanying (Accompanying Spouse)

There is limited accommodation available at the venue. If your spouse would like to accompany you but will not be attending the Leaders’ Forum as a delegate, please contact the registrar at registrar@bamglobal.org to ask if accommodation is available for them.

The Leaders Forum will be held in English, with communications from the main stage being translated into other languages. We are collecting information about translation requirements during our nomination and registration process and are provisionally planning to offer Korean, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian simultaneous interpretation, as required. Final translation provision will be confirmed in early 2026. If translation is essential for you, please contact us to get an update regarding translation.

Please note, we will not be able to provide translation for all breakout and roundtable discussions for all languages, but we will endeavour to provide at least one translated option for breakouts, and to organise roundtable discussions in language groups, as needed.

Important Passport and Visa information:

The Philippines requires a Passport with at least six months of validity remaining from the date of arrival for most foreign visitors. Please check your Passport expiration date as soon as possible.

It is your responsibility to check whether you require a visa to enter the Philippines. You may see here and here for visa advice for the Philippines – this information is advisory only, you should check your own Government’s information to get definitive information about visa requirements for Leaders Forum travel.

Because the Leaders Forum is a gathering of Christian leaders at a retreat centre (not a formal business conference) we are advising delegates who require a visa to apply for a Tourist Visa for the Philippines.

If you do require a visa, please contact registrar@bamglobal.org, to let Ben, our Registrar, know that you are in the process of applying. He will also send you a link to generate a visa invitation letter and you will be automatically sent the documents needed to apply for your visa or to carry with you as you travel.

Please contact us ASAP at registrar@bamglobal.org if you have any other questions with regards to visas.

The Leaders’ Forum is by invitation only. However, if you would like to nominate someone else for us to consider inviting, please use the nomination form link.
